“The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you recused me. Therefore I will praise you among the nations O Lord; I will sing praises to your name.” Psalm 18:46-49
Sometimes we need a reminder that the God we serve is alive and more than able! We need to lift ourselves up in the fact that God has already delivered us out of the enemy’s hand! We are victors in all that we face! Remember that time He was there to comfort you? Remember that moment He came RIGHT on time? Remember that He calls us friend? It is Him who comforts us, whose peace surpasses all understanding! Praise Him through your frustration, tears, anger and even lack of understanding. God is and will always be our shield, the one thing we can depend on. Joy is near.
In prayer, I am reminded of His goodness and mercy. I am reminded through my testimony that God will never leave us or forsake us. It’s through praise where I am able to find joy and peace. In prayer I am reminded to surrender it all. He will never gives us more than we can handle and because of that, this too shall pass. I’m reminded that my God lives and is able! What are you reminded of?
